We carved the block and did a test print before delivering it to the Foundry Art Center in downtown St. Charles. Our block, along with nineteen others, was inked up, and instead of a printing press they used a steamroller to print it." —Ruth.
"We have two rabbits named Clovis and Pipkin. After many attempts we captured a good photo of them both. Then we carved an image of the photo on a woodblock. We brought it to The Foundry Art Center and a couple days later we went to The Block Party to watch it get printed by a steamroller." —Peter
"For this project we took good photograph of our rabbits for reference. It took a long time, but we finally decided on a photo of them in our herb garden. We then transferred the picture onto a wooden block and carved it. From there we inked it up and ran it through the press. A steamroller was used to print our print and many others. It was exciting to see so many different prints at the block party." —Clement
